Jerod Eugene Hudson, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Jerod was born April 30, 1982 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Steve and Carol (Strobietto) Hudson.
Jerod was raised in rural Greentop, Missouri and attended and graduated from the Schuyler County R-1 schools with the Class of 2000. He was a member of the National Honor Society throughout his high school years.
Jerod lived with his mother, Carol and step-father, Hal Snowbarger and his special family, Larry and Judy Keim. Larry stepped in to help with raising Jerod after Hal had passed away in 2004 and considered Jerod as one of his own. Casey Keim, who was his next door neighbor and best friend, were together all through childhood and adulthood. They did everything together even trucked the highways together and would call each other daily. Casey had a special name for him which was Huddy and Jerod called Casey, Yoda. He loved being with his grandma and grandpa and he was the light of his grandpa’s eye.
Jerod loved hunting, truck driving and music. He had his own DJ service at one time called Tiger Tunes. Jerod was always a big jokester and pulling pranks on people when he could which he started that at a young age. And it is a good thing he was smart because he never did his homework.
Jerod dearly loved his three children and wanted nothing more than to see them grow up. He was an organ donor and what a privilege it would be to be on the receiving end of that donation.
