Jack Sizemore

March 18, 1929 — March 15, 2017

Jack Sizemore age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2017, at the Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, MO.

The son of Bina LeRoy and Hadie Stoneking Sizemore, Jack was born March 18, 1929 in Stahl, MO.

In September, 1952 he was united with Nellie Kephart who preceded him in death on March 14, 2010. Also preceding him in death were his parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Jack is survived by one son, Mark Sizemore and wife, Tamra of Lockhart, TX. three daughters, Debbie Bramlett of Kirksville, MO. Tracy Gibson of Higginsville, MO. Kim Morrow and husband, Marty of Novinger, MO.  two sisters, Frances Garrett of Visalia, CA. and Ollie Soloman and husband, Mac of Queen City, MO. sister-in-law, Patricia Sizemore of Green Castle, MO and several grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jack was reared in the Stahl and Novinger, Missouri areas. He attended the rural schools. Jack served in the United States Army in Korea and Japan. He worked many jobs in the area, farming, backhoe operator and trucking. He was a member of the Construction Industry Laborers Union Local 660, International Union of Operating Engineers, and the Teamsters Union Local #534. Jack enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at Chevy's, taking drives around Novinger and the time he shared with his family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funereal Home with Pastor Paul Milliken officiating. Burial will be in the Morelock Cemetery in Adair County, MO.

Pallbearers will be Joshuwa Hines, Roger Sizemore, Tim Sizemore, Bobby Withrow, Richie Roan and Ronnie Cucilich.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Patterson and Ben Western.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at the

Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home
