Deklyn Ryeder Schulte gained his angel wings on Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was born July 14, 2016 in Columbia, Missouri to Damian and Brandi (Richmond) Schulte.

He is survived by his parents Damian and Brandi Schulte and five siblings: Morghan, Dylyn, Aidyn, Jaxyn, and Gracyn of Columbia, MO; Grandparents Pam Richmond of Kirksville, MO and Damian and Bea Schulte of Greentop, MO; Great-Grandmothers Mary Margaret Goodwin of Edina, MO and Bea Dovin of Rolla, MO, Aunts, Ashlie (Grant) Vincent of Lebanon, MO; Anna (Jacob) Strayhorn of Shelbina, MO; Jessica (Louis) Alvarado of Troy, NY; Julia (Max) Kahn of Roeland Park, KS; Lara (Kenneth Smith) Schulte of Kansas City, MO; Meghan Schulte of Greentop, MO; Uncles Joseph Schulte of Albuquerque, NM; Mark (Michele) Schulte of Centralia, MO; Christopher Schulte of Greentop, MO as well as many cousins.

He was preceded in death by an older brother Damian Michael Schulte, Grandfather Mike Richmond Great-Grandparents Richard Goodwin, Bill Richmond, John Dovin, Donald and Rita Schulte; Great Aunts Irma Dovin and Nelle Dovin, Great Uncles John Dovin, Julio Dovin, and Danny Schulte.

Deklyn’s life was short but impacted many people beyond his family, from NICU and PICU nurses and doctors to Facebook Friends. He will be remembered by his family as Tank. His little grins warmed their hearts and taught them much about patience, understanding, and celebrating “little” moments.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday (March 25, 2017) with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery.
