Laura Carol Combs, 61 of Kirksville, passed away Monday (December 28, 2009) at her home.
Carol was born on June 26, 1948 in Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Alfred and Betty May (Bachman) Stull. On February 14, 1997 in Kirksville she was united in marriage to Danny Combs who survives.
She is also survived by three sons, Carl Raine and wife Carol of Downing, MO, James Raine of Mexico City, Mexico, Curtis Raine of Hannibal, MO; three step children, Mike Combs and friend, Tiffany Miller of Greentop, MO, Terry Combs and wife Kathy of Greentop, MO, Jeremy Haske of Columbia, MO; one brother, Earnest Stull and wife Sabina of the state of Georgia; three sisters, Betty Mitch of La Plata, MO, Annie Guffey and husband Larry of Green City, MO and Janie Heller of Kirksville; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John Stull, David Stull, Robert Bachman and Albert Stull.
Carol was raised in the Hurdland, MO and attended the Hurdland School. She enjoyed fishing, garage sales, lawn work, listing to music and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (December 30, 2009) at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Shobe officiating. A private interment will be at a later date.
