Robert Hart

Robert (Bobby) Lee Hart, 70, of Centerville, Iowa passed away at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA on January 9, 2010.
Bobby Hart was born on June 28, 1939 in Exline, IA, the son of Robert and Nellie Hart. On July 28, 1962 Bobby married Patricia Sparks in Unionville, MO and 4 children were born to this union.
Bobby was a truck driver his whole life driving for 40 plus years. He had driven through all 48 continental states. Bobby never made it to Hawaii because he was waiting for them to build a bridge. Bobby loved to be the prankster so much that his family doesn’t know which of his traveling stories are true. Bobby enjoyed computer video games and loved to play cards with his family. When Patricia’s health started to fail, Bobby cheerfully helped out with the cooking and laundry.
Bobby is survived by his wife Patricia of the home and a daughter, Debra Trent and husband Lonnie of Unionville, MO. His surviving siblings are brother, Wayne Hart and wife Dorothy of Chillicothe, IL; sister, Mary Crain of Bowie, TX; brother-in-law, George Leck and wife Carol of Kansas City, MO; sister-in-laws, Lilly Stevens and husband Charley of Unionville, MO and Sue Hill and husband Jim of Woodstock, IL. Bobby’s surviving nieces and nephews are Mike Hart, Linda Hessing, David Hart, Judy Hart, Clarence Crain, Jr., Sheila Grenko, Jeff Crain, James Hill, Blaine Hill, Tonja Foxworthy, and Wesley Leck. Many great nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by 3 children, John Edward Hart, Glen Alan Hart, and Betty Lyn Hart; a sister, Carol Hart; and father and mother-in-law, Roy and Reta Leck.
Bobby’s visitation and viewing will be held at the Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 with the family present between the hours of 5:00-7:00pm. Memorials are suggested to the family and may be entrusted to Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
