Tina Marie Stewart Darland, 49 of Novinger passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (January 12, 2010) at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Tina was born March 17, 1960 in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Clara Mae (Sizemore) Stewart. On June 16, 1994 in Goring, MO she married Bill Darland.
Tina is survived by her husband, Bill of Novinger; her mother and step father, Clara Mae Stewart Lewis and Richard of Kirksville; her children, Michael Davidson of St. Charles, MO, Christina Davidson and fiancée John Fox of Kirksville and Kimberly Ann Bell of the home; five step children, William Darland Jr and wife Donica of LaPlata, MO, Rebekah Darland of Texas, Nathan Darland and wife Ashley of LaPlata, MO, Shanda Darland, of LaPlata, MO and Joseph Darland of LaPlata, MO; two brothers, Clarence Michael Stewart and wife Tonya of Texas and Chad Penn of Kirksville; three sisters, Tonya Downing and husband Merlin of Novinger, MO, Dovie Stewart of Kirksville and Rebecca Elgin & husband Josh of Kirksville; fourteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Tina grew up in Novinger and attended the Novinger schools. She was a homemaker and later in life she worked as a nurse’s aid for Pyramid Homemaker services. She was a loving and caring person who would do anything for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and also enjoyed crafts, gardening, cross-stitch, painting, collecting butterflies and canning.
Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday (January 16, 2010) at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Tina will be cremated following the visitation.
