Roy Lee was born July 28, 1945, in Putnam County, the son of Virginia (Choate) and the late Grover Robbins.
On March 5, 1966, Roy married Sharon Kathleen Milner of Newtown, MO. To this union three children were born, Rick and wife Paula Robbins of Unionville, Ron and wife Diane Robbins of Unionville, and Kim and husband Kevin Christian also of Unionville, MO.

Roy Lee accepted Christ as his Savior in February of 1978 and was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Church of Unionville, MO.
Roy Lee loved big family gatherings with him telling stories of times past. He so much loved his kids and grandchildren. Every family member was dearly loved. Roy also enjoyed his farm and his “other woman”—his dog, Lady. Roy Lee wanted everyone to know that he loved the Lord, his family, and his friends with all his heart.
Roy always gave God and the power of prayer as the reason he persevered in his long fight against cancer.
His grandchildren are Britni Robbins, Emily Robbins, Ryan Robbins, Brogan Robbins, Hilary and Corey Mason, and Lacey and husband Ian Gilworth, Michael Robbins, Joshua Miller, and Kameran Christian.
Roy Lee is survived by his mother, Virginia Robbins, of Unionville, MO, as well as his brothers and sisters: Carl (Sherry) Robbins, Unionville, MO; Darl (Thelma) Robbins, Livonia, MO; Judy (Bob) Kelso, Unionville, MO; Patty (Paul) Rouse, Unionville, MO; Kathleen (Doug) Kimmel, Unionville, MO; Glenda Ambrosia of Unionville, MO; Carolyn (Roger) Roof, Unionville, MO; David (Karen) Robbins, Unionville, MO; Randy (Melanie) Robbins, Unionville, MO; and LaDonna (Jerry) Roberts, Unionville, MO.
