Trella Marie Coffman, 93 of Bloomfield, IA passed away Sunday (March 28, 2010) at the Bloomfield Care Center.
The daughter of Larkin Cecil and Bessie Mae (George) Baskett, she was born January 1, 1917 in Purdin, Missouri. On March 3, 1934 in Kirksville, MO she was united in marriage to Floyd Wiggley Coffman and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, two nieces and three nephews.
Trella is survived by her son, Gary Eugene Coffman and wife Bonnie of Montrose, CO; sister, Leatha Mae Middleton of Ottumwa, IA; grandchildren, Thomas & JoEllen and numerous nieces and nephews.
Trella attended the Maple Grove School. She was a cosmetologist and operated a beauty shop out of her home for many years. She was an excellent bowler and seamstress; making her own clothing. She also enjoyed crafts and music.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (April 1, 2010) at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville with Reverend Earl Ferguson officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
