MICHAEL RAY GRAMLING

Michael Ray Gramling, 65 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Friday evening April 2, 2010 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center.

Mike was the born on August 14, 1944 the son of Clarence and Waverly Jane (Pipes) Grambling. He was united in marriage to Anne Widmer on June 7, 1975 in Kirksville, Missouri who survives.

Besides his wife Mike is survived by his mother Waverly J. Gramling of Kirksville; one daughter Melissa and fiancé Jeff Goodwin of Kirksville; one brother, Steve Grambling and wife Marla of Kirksville and two grandchildren Zachary and Stella.

Mike was reared in Milan until moving to Kirksville when he was in Junior High School. He completed his schooling at Kirksville Senior High graduating with the class of 1961. He attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers (now Truman). He worked most of his life in the auto parts business and for twenty was a partner in the Edina Parts Store retiring due to failing health. He was know for knowledge of car parts and what part was need to repair a car even down to the exact part number which was in his memory. From his childhood he had a strong interest in cars and even after his retirement he continued to read car magazines. He was known for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed his grandchildren and was always happy to see and be with them.

Mike was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 Tuesday A. M. (April 6, 2010) at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Christopher Cordes officiating. Music will be provided by Jim and Kyle Clark. Interment will be in the Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be

Visitation will be after 3 P.M. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
A Prayer service will be held at 6:00 P. M. Monday at.
