Debra JoAnn Easley
Debra JoAnn Easley, 53 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday (July 7, 2010) at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
The daughter of Charles M. and Dicy (Perkins) Craig, she was born May 26, 1957 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was raised in Kirksville and attended and later graduated from the Kirksville Schools. For five years she ran a day care center in Newton, Iowa. She returned to Kirksville and was employed by Green Hills. She was a gifted writer and a talented artist. She knew many people and never knew a stranger. She would give to others before herself.
Debra is survived by her mother, Dicy Perkins of Kirksville; son, Jasun Easley of Kirksville; daughter, Tiffany (Easley) Vincent and husband Michael of LaCanda, CA; four brothers, Charles E. Craig of Clarence, MO, Donald L. Craig of LaPlata, MO, Robert W. Craig of Jefferson City, MO and Fred K. Craig of Kirksville; one sister, Tammy D. Craggs of Evansdale, IA; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles M. Craig, grandmothers, Thelma Bartlett and Ruth Cress; grandfathers, E.G. Bartlett, Donald Perkins, and Archie Craig.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (July 10, 2010) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Atlanta, MO.
Pallbearers will be Don Craig, Fred Craig, Chuck Craig, Tyren Craig, Kris Hall and Joshua Kincade. Honorary bearers will be Tara Craig, Brandy Craggs and Kristy Mountain.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the
Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home
