Bydra Eythel Hutchison

Byrda Eythel (Jerome) Hutchison, 86 of Kirksville, formerly of Greentop passed away (July 14, 2010) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center.
She was born March 23, 1924 in Green Castle, MO, the daughter of Stephen and Blanche (George) Jerome. She was united in marriage to Arthur Wilford Hutchison on May 22, 1946 in Edina, MO.
Byrda Eythel is survived by her husband, Arthur; one sister-in-law, Rosalind Jerome of Kirksville; nephews, Keith Jerome (Anne) of Foristell, MO, Clinton Jerome (Mary) of Kirksville, Eugene Robeson (Marsha) of Cameron, MO, Jerome Robeson (Dawn) of Kansas City, MO, Michael Robeson of Excelsior Springs, MO; nieces, Neva Joyce Feidler of LaPlata, MO, Carolyn Davis (Carl) of Worthington, MO, Verla Mikel (Evan) of Manhattan Beach, CA, Elaine Casey (Marvin) of Hartman, AR, Sharon Doss (Stanley) of Topeka, KS, Betty Lockwood (Dennis) of Excelsior Springs, MO, Marilyn Sharp (Larry) of Jefferson City, MO, Blanche Kelly (Danny) of Troy, MO and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond Jerome, Clinton Jerome, Cecil Jerome, Hobert Jerome, Kenneth Jerome, Nile Jerome, Claudie Jerome; sisters, Floy Robeson, Thelma Moore, Mary Jerome; sisters-in-law, Elsea Jerome Salliday, Virginia Jerome Adkins, Fern Jerome, Marie Jerome, brothers-in-law, Ralph Robeson, Hallie Moore; nephews, Hallie Dewayne Moore, Dickie Fiedler, Bill Stateler; nieces, Beverly Sullivan, Ramah Stateler, Karen Stateler.
Byrda Eythel was educated in Adair County Schools and was a life long resident of Adair County, mostly in the Trinity Community. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was very active until her health did not permit. She loved to cook, bake and spend time with family and friends. Byrda Eythel and Arthur were always there to lend a helping hand.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday (July 17, 2010) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Boyd Halford officiating. Burial will be in Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle, MO.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Jerome, Kevin Jerome, Daniel Lockwood, Scott Sharp, Ryan Sharp, David Frohman and Troy Jerome. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Pulliam, David Pulliam, Dwight Hart, Bobby Lindquist, Brian Pulliam, John Taylor and Bill Dixon.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday (July 16, 2010) at
