Bonnie Jean Stewart, 35, of Kirksville, passed away Sunday (August 1, 2010) at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

She was born March 14, 1975 in Kirksville, and was the daughter of John and Pamela (Banning) Stewart.

She is survived by her parents, both of Kirksville; one grandparent Jean Stewart of Kirksville; two sisters, Donna Stewart of Kirksville and Marla Kehrberg of Eldon, Ia; two precious nieces Ryleigh and Kyleigh; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew Stewart and Dorothy Banning, and cousins Teresa Stewart and Anthony Sandman.

Bonnie was reared in Kirksville, receiving her education in Kirksville public schools graduating from Kirksville High School in 1994. Following her education she worked at Twin Pines as a nurses aid, until her health failed. She had a great love of children and was a very caring person, with an interest in family roots. For a number of years she was involved with the Salvation Army children and youth activities.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (August 4, 2010) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Virgil Jones officiating. Special musical selections will “Missing You” “Temporary Home” and “I’ll Be Missing You”. Burial will be at Maple Hills Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be A.C. Watts, Shawn Watts, Josh Stewart, Brett Steele, Preston Stewart, Brad Shrouf, Jeff Crow, and Albert Hawkins. Honorary bearers will be Dave Coy, Randy Stewart, Donnie Watts and Greg Dent.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at

Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home

Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
