Margaret Louise Williams, 91 of Moline, Illinois passed away Tuesday (August 3, 2010) at the Bickford Cottage in Moline, Illinois.

Margaret was born on August 29, 1918 in Adair County, Missouri the daughter of Doc and Mayme (Quinn) Taylor. On December 20, 1944 she was united in marriage to Lynden G. Williams who preceded her in death on January 3, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Virgil Taylor, Robert Taylor and one sister Eileen Turner.

She is survived by four children Peggy Sherman and husband Chuck , of Peru, Illinois, Ed Williams and wife Carol of Lynn Center, Illinois, Judy Grajewski and husband Dave of Utica, Illinois and Bob Williams and wife Cathy of Greentop, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three sisters-in-laws Ruth Niece, Blanche Williams and Maryann Anderson.

She was reared in Adair County where she received her education. She moved to Illinois where she lived for many years before moving back to Missouri in 1968. Due to failing health she moved to Moline, Illinois to be near family.

Margaret was a member of the Chin’n’ Chat Club, Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Piecemakers Quilt Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, gardening and traveling.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning (August 7, 2010) at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. Interment will be in Parkview Memorial Gardens Pall bearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A. M until the time of the service at the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church.
