Donna Jean Walker

Donna Jean Walker, 72 of Kirksville, passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at the Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.
Donna was born on November 1, 1938 in Adair County, Missouri, the daughter of Dolphus “Doc” and Vyron (Martin) Lloyd. She was united in marriage to Bennie Walker on May 18, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri who preceded her in death on March 9, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother Darrell “Doc” Lloyd and a son in law Curt Collier.
Donna is survived by her daughter Karen Collier of Kirksville, Missouri; a son Kevin Walker and wife Jocelyn of San Diego, California; two grandchildren Benjamin Collier and Jennifer Walker ; one nephew Darrell Lloyd and good friends Mary and Lou Campbell.
Donna was reared in Novinger, Missouri and attended the Novinger Schools. Later she attended the Droughon’s College of Commerce in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a home maker and managed Walker Rentals.
Donna was a member of the El Kadir Jewels. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Much enjoyable time was spent with her children and grandchildren
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday (December 10, 2010) at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Park View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday evening (December 9, 2010) at the
