Tony Lunsford, 25, passed away at his home in Green City, MO, on Monday, December 6, 2010.
Tony Lee Lunsford was born in Ft. Worth, TX, on June 27, 1985, the son of Tony Marvin and Twyla (Rouse) Lunsford. Tony worked at various farms around Sullivan and Putnam County. He had recently moved to an apartment on the Green City square and was renovating that place. Tony was a volunteer fire fighter with the Green City Fire Department. He was a gifted artist and had begun doing some tattoo artistry. Tony liked to ride four-wheelers and play paintball and video games. He was a fun-loving person who enjoyed being around others.
Tony is survived by his mother, Twyla, of Green City, MO and brothers Ronnie and Randy Lunsford of the state of Texas, brothers Richard Lunsford and Rodney Lunsford of Green City, MO and brother Mark Lunsford of Unionville, MO. He is also survived by two sisters, Vicki Grimes and Mary Tipton of Unionville, MO. Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. He also leaves behind his pit-bull friend, “Tuff.”
Tony was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandmother, Mary Rouse.
Funeral services for Tony Lunsford, 25, of Green City, MO, will be Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 8, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Playle and Jones Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO.
