Aleta Nan Vestal

Aleta Nan Vestal age 72 of Harrisburg, MO went to be with our Lord & Savior June 4 ^th , 2018.

She was born August 7 ^th , 1945, at Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville, MO  to Ovid and Virginia Vestal.

Aleta is survived by one sister, Rosabelle Borron and one brother, Dexter Vestal both of Green City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Aleta was a graduate of Green City RI High School Class of 1963. She had a government job with the state for several years before going to college and graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, MO with a major in History. She was a Professor in St. Louis for several years and taught around Columbia, MO.

She was a member of Living Church of God in Columbia, MO.

Aleta loved and cared for her animals and was a part of Second chance helping to place cats and dogs in homes around the Columbia area and also did volunteer work for them.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 16 ^th , 2018 at the Assembly Church of God in Green City at 2:00 p.m..
