Anna Gatlin

Born April 25, 1924 In Midway, MO, she was the only child of Lloyd and Alma Pastorious Porter. She was raised on the family farm near Ewing, MO.
On Dec 20, 1941, she married George M Gatlin, who left that evening to serve in the Navy during World War II.
She lived with her family in Greentop, MO until 1962, when they moved to Unionville, MO.
Anna was a member of the Greentop United Methodist Church, and an associate member of the Unionville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
Anna catered cakes for many weddings and birthdays. She was a member of the Northeast MO Extension club for over 40 years, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed playing cards. After retirement, the Gatlin’s spent winters in San Benito, Texas. Anna dearly cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, and an infant daughter, Donna Jean.
She is survived by three children, Georganna Chandler of Kirksville, MO; Anita Hoyt and husband Hadley of Osage Beach, MO; Ted Gatlin and wife Linda of Unionville, MO; Five Grandchildren, Randy Clark, Will (Cord) Hoyt, Chad Gatlin, Shane Gatlin and Tiffany Hoyt Tinson; Ten Great-grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Levi and Logan Gatlin, Jake and Madison Gatlin, Connor, William and Maxwell Tinson, Monica and Willis Hoyt and one Great-great grandson, Carson Clark.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday (February 19, 2018) at Greentop United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Greentop Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of
