William “Bill” Wyatt, 84 of Novinger, MO passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Macon Health Care.


The son of Joseph H. and Alta E. (Ellsworth) Wyatt, he was born December 12, 1932 in Novinger, MO. On September 24, 1954 in Novinger, Mo he was united in marriage to Geneva L. Drummond.


Bill is survived by his children, Terry Williams and husband Leroy of Livonia, MO, Randy Wyatt and wife Fran of Warsaw, MO and Joe Wyatt and wife Sheila of Green Castle, MO; 7 grandchildren, Nick Wyatt, Zach Wyatt, Alex Wyatt, Jasmine Hamme, Jessica Jones, Jake Wyatt and Alissa Williams; and 13 great grandchildren, Peyton, Bryce, Willow, Kailin, Aislin, Kristen, Bradyon, Bysen, Colton, Cameron, Nevaeh, Harper and Ashlyn.


He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geneva on Aug. 26, 2010; and one sister, Goldie Jean Dawkins.


Bill graduated from the Novinger High School. He entered the U.S. Navy, serving 4 years during the Korean War. He then served in the National Guard until he retired from the service. After the service he retired to Novinger, where he served as the Novinger Marshall for 15 years. He worked at the Holiday Inn in maintenance, for Kirksville Plumbing Supply, and then for Standard Register until he retired.


He was a member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed fishing, hunting, bingo and yard sales.


Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 21, 2017) with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens.
