Carol B. Sullivan Findling, 79 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday (August 23, 2017) at Kirksville Manor Care Center.
The daughter of Albert and Rena (Osborn) Sullivan, she was born November 12, 1937 in Kirksville, MO. On November 12, 1957 she was united in marriage to James E. Findling and they had four children.
Carol received her education at the Kirksville Schools. She worked at the Bonfoey Inn Restaurant for 25 years and later worked at a few other restaurants in Kirksville. She enjoyed playing piano, talking on the phone, baking and playing the Mandolin.
Carol is survived by her husband, James E. Findling of the home; four children, Sandy Sizemore and husband Rick of Brashear, MO, Judy Stewart and special friend Randy of Brashear, MO, Brenda Sizemore and husband Roger of Greentop, MO, and Jimmy Findling and special friend Tammy of Kirksville; two brothers, Charlie Sullivan of Kirksville and David Sullivan of Novinger, MO; eleven grandkids; 17 great grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; one granddaughter, Rachel Findling and one great great grandson, Bently Speeks.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (August 26, 2017) at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Draper officiating. Burial will be in Jewell Cemetery northwest of Kirksville.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the
