Charlene Machler

Charlene Hubbard Machler went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Charlene was born December 19, 1945 in Sublette, MO. She was one of seven children which include William (Amy), Willard (Zane), Wilbur (Pat), Wanda, Wilda Steele (Jerry), and Mildred Findling (Jerry). Charlene married Douglas Machler and to this marriage, two sons were born; Anthony Douglas Machler (Kacey Corwin) and Rodney Hubbard Machler who survive. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Tricia Nicole Machler (Daniel Estrada), whom she raised, and a grandson Mitchell Gring; five great grandchildren, Isabella Nicole Crump, Sophia Estrada, Lillyan Gring, Daniel Jr. and Riott Estrada survive as well.

She is preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Abagail Louise Lucille Crump; her parents, Wilbur and Wilma Hubbard; her brother, Willard; her sister, Wilda; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Charlene attended school in Missouri and South Bend, Indiana. She started working at Ivy Tech College while attending classes there. She worked as a teacher's assistant and worked up to being an Assistant Instructor for the Business Science Department. She was employed there for 25 years and had many friends that she held dear to her heart. She loved her time there. Charlene was a member of the Greentop United Methodist Church and the UMW group.

Charlene will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
