Charles Pritchard

Charles Lowell Pritchard, 76 of Kirksville, died on Wednesday, March 27, in his home under the care of Hospice with his family by his side.

He is survived by Sharon, his wife and best friend of more than 50 years; Corey, his son and favorite hunting and fishing partner and his daughter, Brandy, medical confidant and loving nurse. Add to this cherished group, his daughter-in-law, Karen and two wonderful grandsons, Lukas and Trevor who continually brought him joy and affection.

After medical school in Kirksville, he completed an internship and residency in Columbus, Ohio and a cardiology fellowship in St. Louis. He would return to Kirksville in 1976 where he was a practicing Cardiologist until 2011 and taught Cardiology at the Medical School for approximately 25.

Charles will be cremated and his wishes are for his friends to honor him by making a donation to their favorite charity.
