Christine Anne Siglin, age 68, of Kirksville, MO, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Columbia, MO.
Christine was born March 23, 1949, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Donald Lee and Dorothy Elaine Hawkins Rummerfield. She was united in marriage to David Lee Siglin on August 5, 1982, in Kirksville, MO and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1994. Christine was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are one daughter Lisa Anne Coy of Kirksville, MO, two favorite granddaughters Olivia and Claire Coy, one sister Carol (Jimmy) Yowell of Chillicothe, MO, one niece Delaine (Daniel) Alejandro of St. Louis, MO, a close friend Harrie Harrison of Green Castle, MO and her beloved puppy Abbie.
Christine graduated from Kirksville High School in 1967 and graduated from Kirksville College of Cosmetology. She owned and operated the New Leaf Beauty Salon in Kirksville for several years. She loved antiquing and owned her own antique shop in Kirksville and Princeton, MO. Christine was artistic, crafty and witty. She had a great love for her family and was always telling them stories of being an Indian Princess.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018, in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, MO, with a reception immediately following in the Family Center at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2018, from 1 p.m. till time of services at 3 p.m. at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
Casket bearers will be Jimmy Yowell, Larry Yowell, Ray Halstead, Steve Lightle, Rob Spain and Daniel Alejandro.
