Darlene L. Lacore

Darlene L. LaCore, 81 of Melissa, Texas passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Plano, Texas.

Darlene was born on July 22, 1941 in Cameron, Missouri. On August 3, 1961 in Moberly, Missouri she married William “Bill” LaCore. Darlene and Bill moved back to Kirksville where they enjoyed time with family and raised their two children, Bobby and Billie. Darlene and Bill moved to Melissa, Texas in 2006.

Darlene is survived by one son, Robert “Bobby” LaCore of Melissa, TX; three grandchildren, Drake Morris and wife Krystal of Kirksville, Natasha Morris and Richard “Joe” Hatcher of Brashear, MO and Herbie Williams; five great grandchildren, Isaac, Isaah, Gus, Ada, and Wilo; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
