Donna Lynn Dunsmore

June 21, 1944 — August 20, 2023

Donna Lynn Dunsmore (Spear) Born June 21st 1944 passed away with her family at her side on August 20th, 2023 at the age of 79.

Donna was born to the late Gordon Spear and Eileen Voorheis. Her siblings were Jackie Hard, Jerry Spear, and Sandy Clifton who all proceeded her in death. She went to Court school from K-7th grade then onto Southeastern for 7-8th grade and then graduating from Pennfield high school in 1962, with her best friend Bonnie Jones. Donna was married to her sweetheart the late William (Bill) Dunsmore, where they shared a beautiful life together both on Union Lake and in Bunnel, Florida. She grew up on the Spear farm in Pennfield, MI and helped run the family farm and the Lazy S Bar in Augusta. She was in 4-H where she learned her beautiful talent of making purses, belts, checkbooks, and wallets out of leather. She would free hand draw and design each project to personalize it to the person she gifted them to. She did amazing work. She loved horseback riding, playing euchre and solitaire but most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Donna was full of whit and spunk and laughter. She was the most caring and loving and was so thoughtful of others. She loved her shows of NCIS, Murder She Wrote, and Diagnosis Murder.

Donna loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She loved spending time at the ocean and finding all of the great places to eat. She was always out trying new things and loved the four seasons of Michigan.

She was the mother of Cindi Marie, Kristi Kay, John Gordon, Mary Elizabeth, and James Cortlin. Grandchildren, Kailen Randol, Kyle Randol, Nathan Boyd, Spencer Boyd, Mitchell Graham, Seth Rigdon, Bailey Rigdon, Trevor Graham, Christian Graham, and Trysten Graham. Great Grandchildren are Deanna Randol, Owen Randol, Max Boyd, Oliver Boyd, Jaden Macomber who proceeded her in death, Wrenlynn Macomber, Ava Graham, Davinia Dunn, and Gabrial Dunn. She leaves behind along with her family who loved and adored her very much, her best friends Millie Loucks of Bunnel Florida, and Betty Daily of Numa Iowa.

Cremation has taken place and we will be having a celebration of at a later date.
