Ember Pitt

Our precious little angel, Ember Lynn Delphine Pitt, one year old, beloved daughter of Lisa Lynn Pitt, step-daughter of Zachary Ryan Groseclose, biological daughter of James Ryan Heath Crawford of Kirksville. Ember went to be in Jesus arms unexpectedly on February 9 th , 2021. Ember was born August 16 th , 2019 as a very happy baby.

She is survived by her mother and fathers; sister, Lydia Lynn Groseclose; grandparents, John and Elizabeth Pitt, Terry and Vicki Groseclose, Steve and Debbie Crawford and Lanita Heath. She is also survived by many others including her cousin, Jen that she would always call “aunt Cenny”, Avery she knew as “Aray” and also her little cousins, John, Dayton, Katie, and Alaina.  Also survived by Brandy Allen, Jen and Brian Clifton, all of her daycare teachers including, Andrea Orwig, Sam Orwig, Kathy Davis, Shandee Girotti, Cheryl Turner, Shelby Thompson, Kyley Dawn, Pazeleigh Ellsworth, and many others. She was survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents that never got to meet her.

Ember was a very special little girl that touched many people’s hearts. She had the sweetest smile that could light up anyday and make it better. Her favorite thing to do though was to be around family and friends and to play with all kinds of toys. Ember loved being a little helper, if you were fixing something or even just messing and playing with your tools she wanted to help. She loved going with her step-daddy to do anything; didn’t matter if it was outside or inside. Ember loved being “Sissy’s helper” by making sissy smile or laugh just by the littlest thing. Ember was always smiling and laughing, always would make a face that we would call, “Wreck-it Ralph” where she would put her head down look at you and smile all at the same time. She loved her food, her favorite food was Tacos, and Vienna Sausages (Beanie weinies). She loved her books and toys, she always wanted a story read to her everyday and always wanted someone to play with her toys with her. Ember loved her family, her mommy and step-daddy and her would always play with her and sissy every night. Her grandparents, she loved, she would always run too and want them to play with her and not only that but always knew how to make a mess. Ember loved animals of all kinds, her cat “Taco” she loved more than any other animal and her kitty loved her unconditionally too. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed and we will treasure memories of her until we meet again. We know you’re dancing in heaven.
