Frederic Krueger was born in Columbia, Missouri to Charles I. and Gertrude Ramsey Krueger and raised in Kirksville, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he attended what is now known as Truman state University and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He enlisted in the United States Navy and travelled the world serving aboard ship and on bases in Guam, Sicily, Washington, California, South Carolina and Florida.
After retiring from the Navy as a Commander, he enrolled at the University of Central Florida and studied Music Performance. His instrument was the piano. After graduating, he became a keyboard instructor for the University and gave private piano lessons. During his time at UCF he also enjoyed participating in musical theater productions whenever there was a need for a piano player.
After leaving UCF he turned his attention to the Oviedo community and began an active volunteer schedule. He joined the Orlando Camera Club where he won many competitions and the Oviedo Photo Club where he served as Vice-President President, and Past President. He took thousands of photos at events throughout the City of Oviedo and later became one of the first appointees to the City Arts Council. He volunteered at the Hope Helps Food Pantry, Pet Rescue by Judy, Take Stock in Children, MAYS concerts and for the Orlando Camera Club.
His brother Leon Krueger (Karen), nephew Bennet Krueger (Whitney), nieces Katie Krueger Russo (Anthony), Molly Krueger Thurmon (Alec), great niece Eloise Russo and great nephew Carver Russo survive him.
