Harold Leon Schillie

July 12, 1927 — February 8, 2018

Harold Leon Schillie, 90 of Novinger, Mo passed away Thursday (February 8, 2018) at his home.

The son of Henry and Bertha (Carnagey) Schillie, he was born July 12, 1927 in the Pure Air Community, Adair County, MO.

Leon stayed home and cared for his parents, He work many years for the Adair County Road and Bridge. He was a very caring and giving individual. He enjoyed working on the farm, going to the Northtown Café and bluegrass musical festival.

Leon is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Melvin “Buster” Schillie; and two sisters, Leora in infancy and Norma Wallace.

Leon will be cremated and no service will be held. His remains will be buried in the Baden Springs Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
