Heraldine Joyce Bergman (Riggs) born January 10, 1949 to Hazel and Harold Riggs. Passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 after a hard battle with cancer. Herri as her loved ones and friends called her was a spitfire. She loved everyone and would help anyone she could. Herri grew up in a large family with multiple brothers and sisters. As she got older she met Gene Edward Bergman whom she married on May 12, 1967. They lived awhile in Illinois where they raised their children Connie and Mike. During those years Herri spent about 22 years working at Aldi where she was a dedicated employee working her way up to manager. After retirement Gene and Herri settled in Queen City Missouri. Gene and Herri were blessed with 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren (one being on the way.) She loved her family, so very much. Herri and Gene loved traveling together with their kids and still once they grew up and moved on they still loved to travel. As of late Herri started a small business selling Paparazzi jewelry and absolutely loved it and had a blast doing it. She made many new friends with this journey. 

Herri was proceeded in death by her parents Harold and Hazel, her daughter Connie Brown, Her sisters Barbara and Betty, Brother Buddy, her in laws Thelma and Harold Bergman, Sister In law Geneva Yearns, Edna Riggs, Brother in law James (Peach) Bergman, Kenneth (Froggy Bergman), Bobby Beckham and close friends Gloria Wolff, Virginia and Wayne Bailey. 

Herri was survived by her husband Gene Bergman, their son and daughter in law Mike and Sherry Bergman of Symerton Illinois, Grandchildren Amanda Brown of Moberly MO, Stanley Brown Jr. of Queen City MO, Ashley Bergman of Symerton Ill., Megan Minnick and husband Cody Minnick of Braidwood Ill., Zach Bergman and girlfriend Rylee Hall of Symerton Ill., Great Grandchildren Alexander Brown, Matthew Aspel, Jae Bergman, Liam Minnick and soon to arrive baby Stetson Minnick and Family friend Stanley Brown. Brothers: Jerry (Barb) Riggs, Jimmy (Joyce) Riggs, Louie (Debra) Riggs, Denny Riggs, Donny (Penny) Riggs, Sisters: Joyce Beckham and Char Deboard. Sibling in laws: Gwenda Jackson, Rose Bergman, Larry (Tammy) Bergman, Jerry Hatfield, Lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many cousins and lots and lots of friends. 

The funeral service will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Dooley Funeral Home in Queen City with Pastor Sam Burkholder officiating. Burial will follow at Queen City Cemetery in Queen City. The visitation will be held two hours before the service from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
