Imogene Louise Williams, 77, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday (May 29, 2018) at 2:00 p.m.
The daughter of Guy Norman and Bernice Marie (Ayer) Flynn she was born November 16, 1940 in the Greentop area. On September 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jerry Williams who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter Terri Schuckmann, twins in infancy, a brother Dean Flynn, a sister Lois Glaspie, and a grand-daughter in infancy.
Imogene is survived by her children; Roger Williams of Coatsville, Mo. Mary Walitshek and husband Donald of Brashear, Mo., Billy Williams and wife Jackie of Warrensburg, Mo., Michael Williams of Warrensburg, Mo., Virginia Anderson and husband Mark of Adair, Mo., and Peggy Wheeler and husband Danny of Des Moines, Ia. She is also survived by five sisters, two brothers, twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and one great great grand-child.
Imogene was raised in the Greentop and Queen City areas where she attended school. She was employed at Hollister in Kirksville for thirty years before her retirement.
Imogene was a good wife and a wonderful Mother. She loved her flowers and trinkets. She especially loved all of her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday (June 1, 2018) in the Dooley Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Nations officiating. Burial will be in the Jimtown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Burton Keller, George Keller, Dustin Williams, Daniel Anderson, Jerry Lee Williams, and Dale Mills. Honorary Bearers will be Donald Walitshek and Mark Anderson.
Visitation will be noon to 2:00 p.m Friday (June 1, 2018) in the Dooley Funeral Home, Queen City, Missouri 63561
