Irene Jeanice Drennan

Irene J. Drennan, 88 of Kirksville passed away, June 6, 2018, at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Ollin A. and Opal I. (MacGeoghegan) Drennan, she was born May 8, 1930 in Kirksville, Missouri. Irene was raised in Kirksville and attended Kirksville schools. She received her Master’s degree in Music. She taught music in area grade schools for many years. She lived on the farm south of Kirksville and enjoyed raising cattle.

She was a member of American-International Charolais Association. She also liked to ride horses and loved nature watching.

Irene is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister.
