James Willard Dyhouse, 82 of Kirksville, MO passed away Monday (December 9th, 2024) at his home in Kirksville.
The son of James Earl and Cleo (Sanders) Dyhouse, James was born in Vincent, IN on March 29th, 1942. On October 16th, 2010, James was united in marriage to Jeanine McCune.
James is survived by his wife, Jeanine; Sons, James David Dyhouse and Michael Douglas Dyhouse; Daughter, Deborah Lynn Dore; Grandchildren, Cameron Michael Dyhouse, Johathan Matthew Dore, Andrew Carol Dore and wife Samantha, and Thomas James Dore; 1 brother and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Carol Sue.
James grew up in Indiana where he graduated from school. He furthered his education at Trevecca Nazarene University and later Kansas City College & Bible School. He was a lay minister & evangelist in The Church of God. Later he was an ariel painter. James was an avid outdoorsman. He was adventurous at heart and had a deep appreciation & enjoyment of gods creation. Another thing James liked to do, he enjoyed crossword puzzles. James loved the lord and enjoyed his worship at New Hope Evangelical Church.
James will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to his son Micheal to help with his medical expenses for a Liver transplant or to the New Hope Evangelical Church.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel.
