Jennifer Hinners, 62, of rural Queen City passed away Tuesday (April 3, 2018) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
The daughter of Charles and Doris (Martin) Lilly, she was born June 7, 1955, in Humboldt, Iowa. She grew up in the Humboldt area and attended the Humboldt Schools.
On December 22, 1976 she was united in marriage to Paul Hinners who survives. Also surviving are two sons Daryl Hinners and wife Richelle and Tony Thompson, three grandchildren, two brothers Rodney Lilly and Lester Lilly and wife Mary-Ellen, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Becky.
Jennifer worked for Design Homes for a few years and also helped her husband on the farm. In 2001 Jennifer and Paul moved to rural Queen City where she continued to help him farm and also raised dogs which she really enjoyed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday (April 7, 2018) at the Dooley Funeral Home with Pastor Sonny Smyser officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday (April 7, 2017.) in the Dooley Funeral Home, Queen City, Missouri 63561.
