Jerry Williams, 76, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at his home in Greentop, Missouri.
The son of James Nolden and Myrtle Mae (McGaphy) Williams he was born July 4, 1941, in Livonia, Missouri. He grew up in the Livonia area and attended the Livonia elementary school.
On July 15, 1958 he was united in marriage to Imogene Flynn who survives. He is also survived by his children, Roger Williams of Coatsville, Mo, Mary Walitshek and husband Donald of Brashear, Mo., Billy Williams and wife Jackie of Warrensburg, Mo., Michael Williams of Warrensburg, Mo., Virginia Anderson and husband Mark of Brashear, Mo., Terri Schuckmann of St. Louis, Mo., and Peggy Wheeler of Iowa. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
He worked in the coal mines for a few years and then did factory work for many years. He and Imogene lived in Livonia a few years before moving to Greentop where they have lived for several years.
Jerry enjoyed his flowers, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He was a great dad and husband.
A visitation will be held Sunday (January 7, 2018) from 1:00 to 3:00 p m at the Dooley Funeral Home, Queen City, MO, with family receiving friends at that time.
