Kenneth Jenkins

Kenneth E. Jenkins, 59 of Hurdland, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home.

The son of Paul and Doris (Davis) Jenkins, he was born March 31, 1960 in St. Joseph, Missouri. On March 31, 2001 in Hurdland, Missouri he married Betty Culler.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Adam Jenkins and wife Tina of St. Joseph, MO; one daughter, Kelsey Jenkins of St. Joseph, MO; four grandchildren, Abel, Dominic, Bella and Otto; three brothers, Roger Jenkins, Steve Jenkins and Joe Jenkins all of Wathena, KS; one sister-in-law, Paula Bascio and two nephews, Andrew Walton and friend Rebecca Whitmire and Austin Walton and friend Akizma Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Melvin Jenkins and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth attended grade school in Sparks, Kansas and graduated high school in Highland Kansas. He served in the United States Army for 12 years until his honorable discharge. He worked odd jobs in the Kirksville until his disability stop him from working. He loved spending time with his family and his two dogs.

He will be cremated and no service will be held. Arrangements in the care of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
