Kevin Michael Wilson, born on January 21, 1958, in Burlington, Iowa, passed away on February 16, 2025, at Northeast Regional Medical Center. A resident of Davenport, Iowa for many years, Kevin dedicated over two decades of his life to serving the Presbyterian Church until his retirement in June of 2024.
Kevin graduated from high school in Rock Island, Illinois, where he began to forge a life characterized by his commitment to family and community. He was known for his kind nature and unwavering dedication to helping those around him. His love for people was evident in both his professional life and personal relationships.
An outdoorsman at heart, Kevin enjoyed fishing and bicycle riding, immersing himself in nature whenever he could find the time. He was a devoted worker who took great pride in his contributions, whether at work or home.
Kevin married Mary Neveln and to this union, son, Bret Wilson survives, as well as; his grandchildren, Mackenzi and Garrett Wilson; his brother, Keith Wilson of Belknap, Iowa, and sister, Kimberley Farmer of Glenwood, Missouri. He also leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Emily Wilson; his brothers, David Roy Wilson and Russell Lee Wilson; and his brother-in-law, Donald L. Farmer.
A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on March 8, 2025, at Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
Kevin Michael Wilson will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love and service remains in the hearts of many. Memorials may be left to his son Bret Wilson.
