Larry Charles Collins, age 70, of Queen City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 25, in Queen City, Missouri.
The son of Charles and Mary Jane (Scurlock) Collins, he was born August 10, 1950. On November 22, 1970 he was united in marriage to Angela Walgren. To this marriage 3 children were born.
Surviving are three children: Becky Douglas of Queen City, Missouri, Casey Collins (Vicki) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Susan (Scott) Crawford of Queen City, Missouri. Eight grandchildren; Tyler Collins of Omaha, Nebraska, Cody Collins of Lincoln, Nebraska, Amadee Huck (Daven) of Maryville, Missouri, Schuyler Douglas of Queen City, Missouri, Seth Crawford of Macon, Missouri, Ava, Will, and Nathan Crawford of Queen City, Missouri. One Great Grandson Jameson Huck of Maryville, Missouri. Brother-in-law Ed Berry of Glenwood, Missouri. Niece Elaina Wolzak (Brad) of Blue Springs, Missouri. Nephew Edward Berry (Jessica) of Glenwood, Missouri; Great Nephew Eddie Paul of Glenwood, Missouri and Great Niece Sienna Stewart of Glenwood, Missouri.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Jane Collins, his wife Angela Collins, son-in-law Kevin Douglas, sister Linda Berry, and Uncle Bob Collins.
In his early years, Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, trapping, and searching for arrowheads. In his later years, he enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and close friends and sharing many stories of “the big one”.
Larry loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandson, and many other family members and lifelong friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Pleasant Home Cemetery in Worthington, Missouri.
