Larry Eugene Harold Peek

Larry Peek, 76, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Larry Eugene Harold Peek was born in Centerville, Iowa, on June 5, 1944, the son of Harry and Ester (Bankson) Peek, who preceded him in death.  He married Barbara Wulf in Davenport, Iowa, on July 20, 1964, and she preceded him in death on April 11, 2009.  Seven children were born to this union. Larry lived most of his life in Unionville or Centerville, Iowa, except for a period of time in Davenport, Iowa.  He worked in concrete construction, building floors and walls.  Larry liked to watch western movies on TV, fish, and play poker.  He also loved his family and worked hard to support them.  He loved to be around his 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his children: Larry (Ronda) Peek of Centerville, Iowa; Mark (Lynette) Peek of Livonia, Missouri; Debbie (Doug) Hurley, Cindy Spurgeon and Brian (special friend Joni Hurley) Peek all of Unionville, Missouri; Jeff (Rhonda) Peek of Pollock, Missouri; and Kim Peek of Milan, Missouri.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as four sisters: Sandy (Paul) Stankee of Tennessee, Dixie (Danny) Agan and Carol Agan, all of Centerville, Iowa, and Diona Crowder of Freemont, Iowa.

Others who preceded Larry in death are a granddaughter, Samantha Peek, a brother, Jerry Crowder, and two sisters, Sherry Crowder, and Peg Coady.

Graveside services for Larry will be at the Unionville Cemetery in Unionville, Missouri, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family and entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27 ^th St., Unionville, MO  63565.
