Lois L. Eason

Lois Eason, 86, of Queen City passed away Saturday., August 21, 2021, in the  LaBelle Nursing Home where she had been only a very short time.

The daughter of William Winfield and Stella Marie Overton Mullins, she was born May 27. 1935, in Glenwood, Missouri.

She attended grade school at Jimtown and graduated from high school in 1954 from the Queen City High School.

On August 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to John Eason who preceded her in death on November 2, 2013.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Mac and Gilbert Mullins, and a sister-in-law Hilda Eason.

Lois and John lived on a farm in rural Queen City until November of 2010 when they moved to Queen City.

She is survived by her sons, John William Eason and wife Tammy Sue of Queen City and Gordon L Eason and wife Tamara of Queen City. She is also survived by a brother, Glen Mullins and wife Marlene of Lancaster, MO; sister, Mary Clark and husband Bob of Tacoma, Washington; sister-in-law, Thelma Mullins of Novinger, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was a member of the Queen City Baptist Church.

She was a great mother and mother-in-law and loved very much.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday (August 25, 2021) at 1:00 p.m at the Jimtown Cemetery, east of Worthington, MO with Pastor Sonny Smyser officiating.
