M.L. Cullor, 86, of Powersville, MO, passed away at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 29, 2021.
M.L. was born on March 20, 1935, in rural West Putnam County, the son of Richard and Daisy (Morgan) Cullor. M.L. Cullor gave his life to Christ as a youngster and let his Lord lead him through it all. M.L. attended the Powersville Christian Church. On October 18 th , 1953, he married Lenora Ann Buckallew who shared the next 67 years together until his passing. After attending college, M.L. settled into a lifetime of beginning a family and running a dozer. On his downtime he loved to hunt and fish and was a talented and noted flint knapper. When M.L. retired, he and his wife started their new adventure together, traveling and going RVing across our great nation. M.L. not only had his beloved Powersville family, but a host of nationwide friends.
M.L. Cullor is survived by his wife, Lenora of the home and 2 sons, Willie Cullor and wife Jeanne of Lucerne, MO and Wes Cullor of Powersville, MO. Surviving grandchildren are Sherry Vengels, Justin Cullor, Michele Brandon, Laura Cullor, and Jasmine Brooks. M.L. is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, One great great grandchild, and a brother Clinton Cullor and wife Mary of Forreston, IL.
In addition to his parents, M.L. was preceded in death by a son, M.L. Junior Cullor; sisters, LaRue, Pearl, and Roseanna; and brothers, Rex and Gilbert.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Cullor Cemetery and may be entrusted to the Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27 th Street, Unionville, MO 63565.
