Marie Lenore Reasbeck

Marie Lenore (Pensis) Reasbeck, passed away at 7:17 AM, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in Warrensburg, MO.  She was born March 31, 1937 in Dillonvale, Ohio, to Henry and Josephine (Ooms) Pensis.  She married Jack Reasbeck on March 21, 1958, and he survives in Warrensburg.

Also surviving are their children, Tina (Mike) McCormack of Unionville, Kenny (Suzanne) Reasbeck of Warrensburg, Jackie (Cindy) Reasbeck of Lee’s Summit, and Tony Reasbeck of Warrensburg; seven grandchildren, Shawn (Cara) McCormack, Shayla (Daniel) Spring, Robert (Jenn) Reasbeck, Beth (Forrest) Hancock, Maggie Reasbeck, Chelsea (Donovan) Ortega, and Hannah Reasbeck; and seven great-grandchildren, Riley and Chase (Shawn), Brayten and Liam (Shayla), Gabi and Karson (Robert), and Sam (Beth).

Marie’s parents, brothers Henry and Joseph, and sisters Betty and Louise preceded her in death.  Her brother Kenny Pensis of Dillonvale, OH, survives.

In 1971, Jack and Marie moved from Ohio to Unionville, MO and it quickly became their new home where they raised their children and made many lifelong friends.  Over the years, Marie enjoyed working at the Unionville Sale Barn, Casey’s General Store, and Dunlap Manufacturing.  Marie enjoyed time with family, dancing (in her younger years), movies, and she was an avid KC Chiefs and Royals fan.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

The visitation is at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.  A private family burial will be later.
