Mary C. Ford

Mary C. Ford, 43 of Kirksville passed away Friday, October 30, 2020.

The daughter of Francis Leon and Dolly Joy (Reeves) Tonkinson, she was born November 22, 1976 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mary is survived by two children, Lillian Heather Rose Tonkinson of Albany, MO and Lane Andrew Dale Kirkham of Queen City, MO; her father, Francis Tonkinson of Kirksville; her mother, Dolly Tonkinson of Brashear, MO; one brother, Brian Tonkinson and wife Dara of Kirksville; her grandmother, Mary E. Reeves of Brashear, MO; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Owen Reeves, Laura Lillian Reeves, Ivan Tonkinson and Catherine Tonkinson.

Mary grew up in Hurdland, Missouri and attended Knox County Schools. She worked for Merits in Kirksville until her health would not allow her to. She was active in the Brashear Methodist Church and Sabbath Home Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with youth groups at church. She enjoyed the computer, playing games and music. She helped with fund raisers at the Brashear School.

Mary will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
