Mary Miller

Mary Miller, 68, passed away early Tuesday morning (June 25, 2019) at her home in Lancaster, Missouri.

The daughter of Joseph Herbert and Willa Faye (Bunch) Yates she was born April 24, 1951 in Marion County, Kentucky.  She grew up and attended Catholic School in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was united in marriage to Lester William Coyle and to this union one son Lester William Coyle II was born.

On December 29, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was united in marriage to Ronnie Lee Miller and to this marriage three children were born, William Jerald Miller, Ronnie Lee Miller Jr., and Mary Christina Miller.

Mary and Ronnie moved to Oskaloosa, Iowa, after about a year, and lived there for about a year before moving to Chamblee, Georgia where they lived for thirteen years.  In December 1986 they moved to Lancaster, Missouri.

Mary is survived by her husband Ronnie, three children Lester William Miller, Ronnie Lee Miller Jr., and Mary Christina Miller, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by five brothers: Tom Yates and wife Remona, Joseph Yates and wife Mary, Robert Yates Sr., Charlie Yates and wife Shari, and Bubby Yates all of Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, a son William Jerald Miller, and two brothers Nick Yates and Harold Bunch.

At the age of thirteen Mary was taken in by a foster family (Charles and Priscilla Leaver) who helped to raise her.  They became her second family with five other brothers and sisters:  Charles Leaver Jr., Callie Leaver, Harold Leaver, Carla Leaver, and Stephanie Roark.

Mary loved crocheting, embroidering, painting, fishing, camping and time with her family.  Mary was always willing to help others.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (June 29, 2019) in the Dooley Funeral Home with Father Colin Franklin officiating.  Burial will be in the Cuba Cemetery in Monroe Co., Iowa.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie L. Miller Jr., J.R. Yardley Jr., John Maynard, Christopher Miller, Jeremiah Johnson, and Jesse McNary Sr.

Honorary Bearers will be Thomas Yates, Joseph Yates Nathan Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Aaron Withrow, and Lester Miller.

Visitation will be Friday (June 28, 2019) after noon with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Dooley Funeral Home, Queen City, Missouri 63561,
