Nancy Briley, 58, of Unionville, MO, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, of natural causes due to heart complications.
Nancy Sue Hacker was born in Albany, MO, on July 17, 1960, the daughter of Harry and Opal (Oxford) Hacker, who preceded her in death. Nancy attended Corydon (IA) High School and later achieved her G.E.D. She worked for several years until poor health caused her to receive disability. Nancy tried to maintain a positive attitude even though she suffered chronic pain for many years. She loved to sing old time Rock Nā Roll, collect purses and shoes and wear make-up. Nancy loved her family and always wanted what was best for them. She cared deeply for her kids and grandkids and she truly loved God.
Nancy is survived by her children: Tasha (Waylon) Anders of Unionville, MO, and Tyson Summers of Kirksville, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Jayden Davis-Hacker, Xavier Anders, Xander Anders, Myra Anders, Johnathan Summers, Tyson Summers, Jr., Abby Summers, and Christian Summers. Also left to mourn her passing are two brothers, Charlie Hacker of Oklahoma and DeWayne Hacker of Seymour, IA; and two sisters, Ann Hayes of Moberly, MO, and Mary Sutton of Huxley, IA.
Funeral services for Nancy Briley will be at Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO, at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 22, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral expenses and may be entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
