Okal Allene Bollin

Okal Bollin, 93, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family on Saturday, January 15, 2021.

Okal Allene Bollin was born in Putnam County, Missouri, on October 30, 1927, the daughter of Martin and Hazel (Lewis) Cullor, who preceded her in death.  She married Carroll Kinton in Green City, Missouri, on June 25, 1949, and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1960.  She married Harold Bollin on December 17, 1961, and they had 52 years together until his death on June 21, 2013.

Okal retired after 33 years with the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City.  She had no children.  She returned to Unionville in November of 2013 where she enjoyed being near cousins and friends.  Okal was always a pleasant person to be round. She was active until the last few months of her life, still living in her own home.  Okal is survived by several cousins and friends.

A visitation for Okal will be held at Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville from 10:30 – 11:30 on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  Private burial will be at the Unionville Cemetery.
