Orville Ayers

Orville Lloyd Ayers 73, of Kirksville, MO passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Grain Valley, MO.

The son of Orval and Beulah (Bray) Ayers, he was born June 1, 1943 in Kirksville, MO. He was united in marriage to Alma Smith on March 18, 1963 in Kirksville, MO.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Amy) Ayers of Independence, MO and David (Michelle) Ayers of Grain Valley, MO; one daughter, Taria Wax and Earl Harris of Grain Valley, MO; 12 grandchildren, Derek Ayers, Travis Ayers, Cody Ramsey, Alex Ayers, Noah Ayers, Seiraya Slaven, Julia Christopher, Hailey Wax, Michael Wax, Jonah Ayers, Maycee Harris and Angelica Roland; 7 great grandchildren, Jilliyet Williams, Carson Clayton, Drayce Ayers, Julianna Ayers, Emma Ayers, Leilani Gonzales, and Regan McCarley; and a sister-in-law, Sande Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister, Joann Fields.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Greentop Cemetery in Greentop, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
