Paul was 89 when he passed away on Monday (November 12, 2018) at his home in Kirksville.
The son of Herman J. and Hattie M. (Kennedy) Marquardt, he was born December 3, 1928 in Leonard, Missouri. Paul served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict from October 26, 1948 until his discharge on September 23, 1952. He was a member of the V.F.W.
Paul will be cremated and no service will be held. His remains will be interred in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
