Robert L. Owings

Robert L. Owings, 62 of Green Castle, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his home.

The son of Marvin and Sarah (Stutz) Owings, he was born October 13, 1958 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He moved to Kirksville area as a child and lived here the rest of his life. He graduated from the Novinger High School in 1978. He worked in food service at Truman State University and Rosie’s Northtown Café.

Robert is survived by his two brothers, Floyd Owings and wife Julia of Kansas City, MO and Ernest Owings of Quincy, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert was buried at the Morelock Cemetery north of Novinger, Missouri and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
