Roberta L. Mark

Roberta Louise Mark, 87 of Kirksville passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Victor Lee and Elma Louise (Miller) Pryor, she was born October 26, 1934 in Downing, Missouri. On March 15, 1953 in Memphis, Missouri she was united in marriage to Olan Ray Mark and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Tina Martin.

Roberta is survived by her son, Terry Mark and wife Brenda of Greentop, MO; her daughter, Marilee Tatman and husband Allen of Jefferson City, MO; four granddaughters, Rachel (Preston) Dwiggins, Raquel (Everett) Hines, Tonya (Andrew) Lear, and Samantha (Vernon) Kalkbrenner; ten great grandchildren, Abigail Dwiggins, Lincoln Dwiggins, Camryn Hines, Lane Hines, Levi Hines, Mason Kalkbrenner, Emery Kalkbrenner, Daxton Kalkbrenner, Jack Lear, and Benjamin Lear; one sister, Carol (Steve) Western of Topeka, IN and two nieces.

Roberta was raised in Downing and graduated from the Downing High School. After her marriage Roberta and Ray lived in Illinois for several years until 1970 when they moved to Lancaster and then to Kirksville in 1987. She volunteered at the hospital for many years.

She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and enjoyed her Bible study group and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Faith United Methodist Church.
