Rosalie Fry

Rosalie Barbara Fry, 80 of Kirksville passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Clara Wright, she was born October 19, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. On July 27, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois she married Donald Fry Sr.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Donald; one son, Donald Fry Jr., and three sisters.

She is survived by one son, David Fry and wife Chirstina of Kirksville; two grandchildren, Daniel Fry and fiancée Jodi McKeever of LaPlata, MO and Brian Fry of Kirksville; one sister-in-law, Marjenan Petropoulas of Chicago, IL; a special niece, Linda Kendall of McHenry, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie grew up in Chicago and graduated from the Wells High School in 1956. She got married and started a family and later went to work at Eastman Kodak and then for Tommy Armour Golf as a credit manager until she retired at age 62. She moved to Kirksville to be close to her family.

She loved taking care of her family. She was a kind and generous person that put everyone ahead of herself. She loved going to the hairdresser and talking to people. She will be missed.

Rosalie will be cremated and no service will be held.
