Roscoe William Clark

Roscoe Clark, 89, of Unionville, MO, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2019, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Roscoe William Clark was born in Putnam County, MO, on February 28, 1930, the son of Abraham “Abie” and Frances (Durbin) Clark. He graduated from Unionville High School in 1948. Roscoe married the love of his life, Lillian Dunkin, on April 27, 1949, and she survives at home after over 70 years of marriage. To this union two sons and a daughter were born.

Roscoe was a cattle farmer in Putnam County and lived at the same farm for 67 years. He was also good at breaking horses in his younger years. Roscoe liked to deer hunt and play golf. He was a kind man with a solid reputation in the community.

Others who survive Roscoe are his two sons, Jerry (Sandy) Clark and Larry (Linda) Clark, and his daughter, Cindy (Terry) St. Pierre, all of Unionville, MO. His six grandchildren are Janae (Jon) Walker, Kaci (Willy) Garland, Dustin (Cortney) Clark, Cory Clark, Tabitha Bowen, and Samantha (Roger) Brown. Roscoe is also survived by four great grandsons, Jaxson & Jamison Walker, Cohen Garland, and Chris Bowen, as well as two sisters, Lucille Walter of Luther, IA, and Sheryl Mick of Chillicothe, MO, and a brother, Carroll (Carlene) Clark of Corpus Christi, TX. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, twin Robert Clark & Leon Clark, and a sister, Iolene Norman.

Funeral services for Roscoe Clark will be at Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville at 11:00 am on Friday, November 22, 2019, with visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, ,November 21, 2019. Interment will be at the Unionville Cemetery.
